At Kickapoo Counseling, we are dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey to recovery and personal growth. We offer comprehensive psychosocial rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, and substance/behavioral addiction services and treat a variety of conditions including substance abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, mood disorders, and more. We promise to provide compassionate, personalized care that supports each person’s unique path to wellness and success.
Psychosocial Rehabilitation
A holistic approach that helps individuals with mental health conditions enhance their social skills, independence, and quality of life through skill development, community integration, employment support, and coping strategies.
Vocational Rehabilitation
Designed to help individuals with disabilities or impairments attain, maintain, or return to employment through personalized training, job placement, and support services, fostering independence and self-sufficiency.
Substance & Behavioral Addiction Treatment
A comprehensive range of interventions designed to help individuals overcome dependencies on substances – promoting long-term recovery and well-being.
Comprehensive Community Services (CCS)
Collectively known as STRIVE, CCS is a voluntary Medicaid program that focuses on helping individuals with a mental health and/or a substance use diagnosis on their journey to recovery. Kickapoo Counseling supports and/or manages the CCS program for Vernon, Crawford, Richland, and Sauk County residents. More information below.
Christian Counseling
Christian counseling is a form of therapy that integrates traditional psychological principles with Christian faith and teachings. This type of counseling aims to address mental, emotional, and spiritual needs by incorporating biblical principles and values. The goal is to provide holistic care that respects and nurtures the client’s spiritual beliefs while promoting mental and emotional well-being.

Kickapoo Counseling supports and/or manages the CCS program for Vernon, Crawford, Richland, and Sauk County residents. As a program that helps people of all ages live their best lives, CCS focuses on serving unique needs that relate to mental health and substance use.
